This course is designed for educators and community members who wish to explore how restorative justice in education can serve as a holistic and relational approach which puts anti-oppression, trauma-informed practice, equity and justice at the forefront.
We will define these approaches first in order to better understand how they overlap, interact, and intersect. We will further explore how might restorative justice in education, when taking a critical approach to this philosophy, may bring together the strongest elements of each practice.
