For ages: 8 - 10
Genomics, bacteriophage and epigenetics are cutting-edge concepts researchers study to cure diseases and save lives. In this camp, you explore these exciting ideas from the field of life sciences by making cellular-themed video games! You become a game designer for a week and learn about the design process and the value of computational thinking. In addition, you get to use Unity 3D, the world-leading platform for game makers worldwide. You also design board games and run experiments to test out your theories. And to get you thinking outside the box, there will also be plenty of opportunity to go outside and design games that incorporate the beautiful CapU campus.
