For ages: 8 - 10

From tide pools to the dark, cold depths of the ocean floor, the waters off the coast of BC are teeming with exotic creatures. Using game design, this camp explores the biodiversity of marine life found along BC’s coast. Using board games as a jumping-off point, you create video games and learn the key principles of game design from a curriculum designed by game artists and engineers. You also learn how to use Unity3D, the software of choice for game developers around the world. And although there will be plenty of references to the ocean, we promise the camp won’t be too deep to understand.
