Claymation (Ages 7-12)

Claymation is an uncommon form of stop-motion animation that demands uncommon skill and focus. In this creativity-charged camp, you get a rare opportunity to explore the stop-motion animation process in a hands-on format, from pre-production to production to post-production. Working in small crews, you learn about set design, script writing and editing.

You and your team will then create your own stop- motion animation and edit a short film and movie trailer. Each film crew will use a MacBook and HD stop-motion camera under the guidance of an experienced filmmaker. Family and friends can drop by at the Film Camp in a Box Red Carpet Film Festival at the end of the week to enjoy blockbusters (and of course some popcorn!). In addition, all the movies created in the camp will be posted on our movie portal. All art supplies are provided.
