If you were in the process of completing an Award of Achievement in Bookkeeping when the program was replaced by the Award of Achievement in Bookkeeping for Small Business you will need to complete a slightly different set of courses...Don’t worry – we have made sure that switching to the new program will not incur you any additional costs.

Follow the instructions provided below in four steps to determine which courses you should take to complete your program.

Step 1.

Have you taken Bookkeeping Basics and Introduction to Financial Accounting?

A. If you’ve taken both, move on to Step 2.

B. If you’ve taken one of the two, you will need to take both Bookkeeping Fundamentals 1 and Bookkeeping Fundamentals 2 in the new program. To make sure that you do not incur additional costs, you will only need to pay for the first of these courses and the second one will be offered at no cost to you. Now move on to Step 2.

C. If you have taken neither of the two, you should take both Bookkeeping Fundamentals 1 and Bookkeeping Fundamentals 2 in the new program. Now move on to Step 2.

Step 2.

Have you taken QuickBooks 1 for Bookkeepers and QuickBooks 2 for Bookkeepers? 

A. If you’ve taken both, move on to Step 3.

B. If you’ve taken one of the two, you will need to take both QuickBooks Online 1 and QuickBooks Online 2 in the new program. To ensure that you do not incur additional costs as a result of this change, you will need to pay for the first course, but the second one will be available at no cost to you.  Now move on to Step 3.

C. If you have taken neither of the two, you should take both QuickBooks Online 1 and QuickBooks Online 2 in the new program. Now move on to Step 3.

Step 3.

Have you taken Excel FastTrack: Master the Basics and Excel FastTrack: Intermediate?

A. If you’ve taken both, move on to Step 4.

B. If you’ve taken one of the two, move on to Step 4. 

C. If you have taken neither of the two, you should take either MS Excel Basics or MS Excel: Beyond the Basics in the new program. Now move on to Step 4.

Step 4.

Put together the course(s) determined for you through Steps 1 to 3 and you get your customized course list for completing the Award of Achievement in Bookkeeping!
